“The camp host was amazing!!”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Sites are large. We had a full hookup. Good and level gravel pad. Trails were nice. Not a far walk to the cliffs overlooking the River. We camped at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The area is a pine forest and mostly tree-covered sites. Back in site that is angled so easy to get into. Good cell service that allows for streaming. Quiet campground with a trail to the cliffs...

- RipNC If you like Mexican, Eat at MI Pueblito in Rutherfordton. Food was very good, prices were good and proportions were huge. The Flan was excellent.9 months ago 4 Paws Kingdom Campground & Dog Retreat
- SarahK1978 If you don't want to go all the way to Asheville, check out Chimney Rock! Cute little town and we took the dogs hiking up to the top of Chimney Rock - it's a lot of stairs (no dogs on the elevator) but they were able to take the shuttle bus to the base of the stairs.11 months ago 4 Paws Kingdom Campground & Dog Retreat
- Les35sa50 Shopping was fairly close and so were some restaurants, but we didn't eat at them. Some really nice wineries near by. It's about an hour from Asheville and Winston Salem. Asheville has a wonderful walking food tour & would recommend it. Explained all the fun things for dogs previously.

One of the first iron-clad confederate gunboats was built on the Neuse, but never made it out due to low water level. Mockup on display only on Saturdays in Kinston to the east....
