“Expensive and Nice RV Park. ”
Nightly Rate: $90 USD
Another RV park that claims to be a "Resort". The reality is that this is a nice RV park, especially in the off season when its almost empty. It looks like it could be really crowded in peak season....

Tip for Other Campers:
We tried to go to take the ferry to Ocracoke Island. BE AWARE there are no reservations and the wait can be hours. We showed up at 12:50 pm, were told we were too late to get on the 1:00 AND were too late for the 2:00pm ferry! But we could get in line for the 3:00 ferry.

Tips from campers about Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground
- Ranjr Bring bug spray - when first entering we got hit hard and fast by mosquitos, but once we put on plenty of Off bug spray, it seemed fine. We sprayed the dogs too. Keep an eye out for the clearance height of tree branches. Large 5th wheels must be super close if not hitting if not careful.1 week ago Shady Oaks RV Resort

“Great location for peaceful time”
