“Family atmosphere. Close to the beach. Love it here ”

Cant say enough positives. Family. Cook outs are great. Love it here they are family We camped at Ocean Waves Campground in a Motorhome.

Owner is very nice. Campground was easy in and out. Sites are average size We camped at Ocean Waves Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about Ocean Waves Campground
- xarmoreddriver If you need a longer site request one on lower level. We are long and still had room in front and rear of tractor and rig. Did not explore so can't say what's in this area to visit except Warm Springs Ranch near Boonville where the beer company breeds and raises their Clydesdales. Very informative plus free beer (2 per person sigh). And you can take all the pictures you want and even pet one mammoth horse and see the babies. - Qsan C Higginsville is so pretty. We enjoyed a great meal at Generations Cafe where everything is homemade. Their pie(s) are delish! Go for lunch, they close at 2pm but stay open later on Thurs and Fridays. The local Tractor Supply was a true lifesaver and the employees are top notch. Shop for antiques or see a movie at the theatre. I would have loved to explore the neighboring towns, too - the area is so beautiful.6 months ago Great Escape RV Park & Campground

We are just over the dune from the ocean. The weather is s suppose to be terrible this week but we will have fun anyway. It just rained today and suppose to rain every day. We camped at Ocean Waves...

Tip for Other Campers:
If it is storming check with the campground and make sure Rt 12 is open. It sometimes has over wash from the ocean but it is fixed in a day.
