“Great campground, wooded sites and surrounding area”
Nightly Rate: $44 USD
FHU Sites slope toward the lake so be prepared with blocks. All hookups work good. Quiet campground with lots to do o the area. We camped at Cane Creek Park in a Motorhome.

We were here for a short stay but enjoyed the time. Lots of tall trees and views of the lake. Not much going on with it being in January but a convenient location for trips in and out of Indian Trail...

Tips from campers about Cane Creek Park
- GottaGoNow When navigating to the park, be sure you go to the campground (not to be confused with the day use area). There are signs as you get close so it's pretty well marked. In my opinion, the sites on the water are the nicest. The Waxhaw historic district (Main Street) is underwhelming but there is a great bike shop called Bike Depot of Waxhaw. They were very friendly and solved a bike issue we were having.8 years ago Cane Creek Park

Tip for Other Campers:
Waxhaw is a 15 min drive. Several small stores and eateries there. Some local folks recommended Maxwells Tavern. (it was a good choice) Middle James brewery has a location there. Dog and kid friendly. There was a small but decent farmers market in Waxhaw on Saturday morning. Food Lion is the closest grocery option just north of the downtown of Waxhaw....
