Tip for Other Campers:
Bring plenty of leveling blocks, there is a good chance you will need them. Also, there are some good restaurants in Downtown Waxhaw (Emmets Social Table, Mary ONeills, Jekyl & Hyde, Maxwells Tavern, Capriccis Italian, and Adelas Mexican). Waxhaw Creamery has a great selection of Ice Cream treats. There are also several microbreweries in town as well

Tips from campers about Cane Creek Park
- GottaGoNow When navigating to the park, be sure you go to the campground (not to be confused with the day use area). There are signs as you get close so it's pretty well marked. In my opinion, the sites on the water are the nicest. The Waxhaw historic district (Main Street) is underwhelming but there is a great bike shop called Bike Depot of Waxhaw. They were very friendly and solved a bike issue we were having.8 years ago Cane Creek Park

Cane creek, are we allowed to have a year around lot? Our son lives in charolette and we would like to be Close but, not to close. Lol. Would like to leave it set up on lot. Donna Heath....

FHU Sites slope toward the lake so be prepared with blocks. All hookups work good. Quiet campground with lots to do o the area. We camped at Cane Creek Park in a Motorhome.
