Tip for Other Campers:
100 miles from Jamestown, 60 from Minot. Restroom building has hairdresser, bar, grocery and gas station listed with hours. A lovely stopover enroute to your destination. Since no built-up sites, the ground may be soft/muddy if there has been excessive rain. Use care.
Tips from campers about Drake City Park
- Duran The park does not allow dog fences, pens or e-collars, so be prepared to leash/tether your dogs (or cats I imagine). Walmart, groceries, hardware, fast food all about 3 miles away. The new Lunkers Lounge, just a mile up the road has live music on the weekends and was a really fun place.8 months ago Cutty's Okoboji Resort Club
- DenaM So many thing to do from classic cars, golfing, boating and places to shop and eat2 years ago Cutty's Okoboji Resort Club
- Geo19Irv_723 Spirit Lake is very nice. East side has very expensive homes. Fishing is good.2 years ago Cutty's Okoboji Resort Club
