Tip for Other Campers:
Campground is 22 miles from the closest town so bring what you need! GPS stopped us about 11 miles out and took us down a farm road so we had to turn our 42ft 5er around.
Double check with google maps to make sure you are turning at the right place.

Fill you fresh water tank before hand. Grocery is about 30 minutes in Bismarck.

“Clean and quiet campground ”
Nightly Rate: $16 USD
Sites are gravel and mostly level. Electric at sites. Water throughout campground. Pit toilets in the front. Lots of sun. We camped at Hazelton Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Not much out here. 35-40 minutes to Bismarck.
Nice playground for the kids and it's a nice walk around the park. Lots of pheasant and birds.
“No frills COE park”
Nightly Rate: $8 USD
This is a quiet no frills COE park. Sites are well spaced and there is plenty of walking but no designated trails. Beware, if you have small pets, of the huge bull snakes... Saw one while I was there...

Tip for Other Campers:
If you're traveling from Hazelton, only do it if it hasn't rained for a couple of days. The road from Hazelton is gravel but if it is wet you will slip and slide over the road... I did the road in a class B after it rained the day before and was sliding back and forth on the road... Can't imagine towing or in a class C or A.

Tip for Other Campers:
Bring extra water and make sure you go fishing. There is a nice playground for kids, horseshoes - bring your own.
