Tip for Other Campers:
COMMUNICATIONS: no WiFi. Att hotspot OK. EXERCISERS: Multiuse trail in front of park. Many safe roads in town to run on.
SITES: There is a very large museum next tot eht park but when we were there you have to make an appointment to visit

Nightly Rate: $25 USD
Sites were mostly level, no shade, water/ electric worked fine, nice picnic tables and fire pits. We camped at North Park New Salem in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
It was good to know that the mobile station has a free dump station. AND bulk propane. The Custer Trail museum happened to have an open house when we arrived, usually by appointment only. We Enjoyed the visit so would recommend making an appointment if time allows for a visit. Lots of old home and farm stuff to see.

Tip for Other Campers:
A visit to 'Salem Sue' the Holstein cow sculpture on the hill behind the campground affords a great view of the surrounding area. We missed open hours of the historical society adjacent to the campground, but external exhibits appear to offer a wealth of local history. An adjacent bicycle path went unexplored.
