Cleanliness

Lots of rules, and fines of $75 for various infractions. I didn't find out if they actually charged them. We camped at Van Hook Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Assigned grassy flat place c5 on side of resort. Everyone around had boats! Somewhat overgrown and no view of lake even when we walked around. Very nice grassy area for tents. Bathrooms clean but...

Tip for Other Campers:

Road in is being reconstructed so instructions say to take an alternate route. It is heavily rutted gravel/dirt and you have to drive very slow.

MARTIN EATON Long lake is the closest village, maybe 10 minutes or so away. A small grocery store that has everything you need. there is a lot to do in this area. Including sea plane rides, waterfall trails, fire tower trails, an Adirondack museum in blue mountain lake nearby
