“Lovely Park Along the River”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
It was just an overnight stay and we wished we could have stayed longer. We were there the third week of September and there were only 10-15 other campers throughout the park. Great access to Fort...

Go to Fort Louisburg! Amazing scenery and staff. The guided tours were amazing. We stopped for dinner at Bistro Phare 756 in Louisburg and really enjoyed our meals.
“Very quiet, spacious, with mature trees. 20 minutes to Sydney, 20 minutes to Louisbourg”
Nightly Rate: $38 CAD
When we arrived after the long weekend, the front office was no longer staffed. Our site was taken by another camper who didn't want to leave as they thought they had booked it again for another...

Tip for Other Campers:
Mira River is more like a huge lazy lake. Good for swimming and kayaking in. Sydney was 20 minutes away, Louisbourg 20 minutes in the other direction. Marconi Trail was easy to access to drive around the outside of the coast.

“Nice park, will stay here again. ”
Nightly Rate: $36 CAD
Lots of large sites. Lake side sites are not serviced and most of those seemed to have a fairly steep hill to the water. There are a couple of swimming areas. The water was warm and clear. Washrooms...

“Roomy and cheap!”
Nightly Rate: $26 USD
Lots of room at sites and throughout the park. Camp roads are a bit rough, so take it slow. 30amp and water, no sewer and WiFi only at office. Few trees on out loop, so Sat worked well, as did Verizon...
