“Nice beach access and close to Cape Breton Highlands National Park.”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
This park is very basic. It's a large gravel lot with campsites lined up like a parking lot. The access to the beach is great and it's located about 10 miles from the Cape Breton National Park right...

Tip for Other Campers:
We drove the Cabot Trail both days, one to the south and east, the next through the national park. Beautiful views, a lot of driving. A nice hike in the park to a waterfall, approximately 1.1 miles round trip. Super easy and beautiful, highly recommend.

Seafood Shop and Mr. Chicken were decent. Cheticamp was the perfect home base. I highly recommend venturing up to the north side of the Cabot Trail. Morrison's in Cape North was fantastic, as was Main Street in Ingonish. Gypsum Mine Lake was an easy local hike. Loved Les Trois Pignons.
“Sunset!”
Nightly Rate: $90 USD
Fairly new park. Very clean bathhouse. Owners extremely helpful and friendly. Sunsets are amazing. We camped at Waves End RV & Campground in a Motorhome.
