Tips from campers about Cross Creek Camping Resort
- Chuck Brown We didn't get to do much due to COVID19 issues, but there is a CostCo and lots of other stores nearby. The only notable thing is that in Idaho nobody wears masks, so we stayed clear of all stores. The lowest price gas/diesel station is Maverick.4 years ago Ambassador RV Resort
- TD 1981-Navy Vets Took a nice drive on one of Idahos Scenic Byways, the Snake River Canyon. Due to covid concerns, no restaurants or much else this time, but lots to do in the area, and all major store chains are there.3 years ago Ambassador RV Resort
- ForzaDude Jump Creek Falls is a nice waterfall and short hike through a canyon. The Swan Falls Dam is a really nice area as well with great picnic spots and the Dam Museum (which is only open on Saturday from 10-4) is very interesting and well worth a visit. Of course you have to visit the Idaho State Capitol which is beautiful and then while you are there, go to Goody's Soda Fountain for a fantastic ice cream treat followed by a nice walk through Hyde Park where there are several nice shops and restaurants.2 years ago Ambassador RV Resort

“Mediocre campground for a resort price”
Nightly Rate: $80 USD
This is the second time that we have stayed here. It is an average campground. Many of the sites are greatly unlevel. Decent enough to stay at nothing special. Wouldve picked the different campground,...

Reserved a spot many months in advance, but intern they gave the premium spot to one of the preferred customers at the last minute, bumping us to not desirable spot...
“Nice place, mostly seasonal camps.”
Nightly Rate: $80 USD
Roads are pretty tight and spots are on the smallish side but not too bad. Most sites are seasonal campers and the non-seasonal sites are kept up very good. We stayed at a Premium pull-thru and the...

Tip for Other Campers:
Tons of stuff to do near by. Alum Creek SP is across the street and the city is only about 30 minutes. We didnt make it to the Columbus Zoo as planned (its supposed to be fantastic!) but we did get to a Clippers ball game which was great....

This was an older campground but very close to Alum State Park, Delaware and Columbus. The park was clean and the staff was friendly. There are plenty of family activities on the weekends. We camped...
