“Great swimming pond. ”

Spots are close together, about 20 feet apart. It is clean and quiet, even though it is designed for families with kids. We camped at Hocking Hills Jellystone Park in a Tent Trailer.

Tips from campers about Hocking Hills Jellystone Park
- FairhopeFred Continue beyond the campground and Meadview to reach the point where the Colorado River empties into Lake Mead. You can reach waters edge.3 years ago Meadview RV Park and Rentals
- Barbara Randolph Stock your refrigerator in Kingman before you arrive. The only store in this area is Family Dollar and although it has quite an assortment of items it is not complete. There is a variety of food items but no meat.4 years ago Meadview RV Park and Rentals
- TravelingParkers AREA SHOPPING & Restaurants Stock up on food before you come! The closest real grocery store is 50 plus miles away in Kingman. Meadview does have a Family Dollar; two restaurants, the Anchor Smokehouse and The BoatHouse Cafe & Grille; and one gas station, the Gas & Grub. And that's it. The nearest gas station is 6 miles away in Meadview, the next closest is 12 miles away on Pierce Ferry Rd. (Rt.25) towards Kingman. The closest shopping, other than the Family Dollar in Meadview, is 55 mi away in Kingman, so fill your cupboards before arriving. The Anchor Smokehouse and The BoatHouse Cafe & Grille are the local restaurants. I hear their food is good. The South Cove boat launch is a good place to see the Colorado flowing into Lake Mead. Now for local area: in the area, you can hike, bike & river float.
