Pad lengths can be short if you have a big rig. Camper Host was valuable to us before we booked to help us select a site big enough. We were in 47. Had a great extra large paved camp side which was nice.

Nice. Park lake etc. Check site lengths close. Had to unhook truck but trailer was level We camped at Buck Creek State Park in a Travel Trailer.

All sites are on level paved pads; electric and nonelectric available. Best sites are 9 - 16 which are next to the lake. That said, all sites are pretty nice and you aren't too close to your neighbor....

A tour of the Westcott House (Frank Lloyd Wright) is worthwhile. Tour lasts 1 1/2 hour and is only 20 minutes from the campground.

Springfield itself isn't the most exciting town but you're definitely close to all you need. There is a Walmart, Kroger, and dollar store within 15 mins of the campgrounds. Some nicer dining options in the downtown area (check out The CoHatch, lots of option under one roof.) and your more mainstream restaurants and shopping on the northwest side of town....
