Kathy Frederick Dont hike anywhere north of Pecan Grove. Trails and not well marked and it is very easy to get lost.

Lab Traveler Recommend using exit 24 (SH-77) from I-35. Exit 29 is pretty but has some frost heaves that can make for a bumpy ride. Other than that its fine.
