This was a good and affordable stop on the way home. It's self service, you park in the east or west campground. The two entrances are not well marked; the first one you come to is 30amp elec water,...

Tip for Other Campers:
This area ranks third in the country for most tornadoes. Keep your eye on the weather because it can change very fast. We were on our way to bed, the weather looked great, but when we turned on the TV we found there was a tornado alert and heavy TStorm warnings. Tips from campers about Lake El Reno RV Park
- JKoning Johnnies in town on Rock Island only a couple miles. ONION BURGER! A local specialty!!!3 years ago Lake El Reno RV Park
- Abby M When you first pull in, the "east rv park" is the spota for water and electricity only. You have to drive in further and you'll find the other rv area which includes water, electricity and sewage. It's lose to the office where you pay.3 years ago Lake El Reno RV Park
- Deborah_Barlow_325 Speed limits in town drop down to 25 mph. Walmart setup is better than any other one I've been to. The Montana Steak house wasn't so good, ordered Filet Mignon, at first I thought it was but it went to more of a sirloin at the end! The mac & cheese really sucked, noodles were not done and cheese taste had none (no taste)!3 years ago Lake El Reno RV Park

This was an easy stop on I-40. Adequate, but not the nicest city park weve been to. Bathrooms (somewhat dated) open from 7 am - 7 pm; they have showers but we didnt use them. The best thing is the...
