  SeaMoore448 As a former local I did not use the GPS, but if you enter 3800 Commanch Gap Rd in Harker Heightscin your GPS it will get you to the right angle curve right before the park. All you have to do from there is follow the road to the entrance building. Also be aware it gets really busy on weekends and in the afternoon close to the trail head right before the park. The HEB (a large local Texas grocery chain), Walmart, Sam's Club (usually the cheapest gas + diesel around), Target etc are all close by. If you are looking for a clean laundry, look up Wells laundry in Harker Heights. The little German restaurant Opa's Hut (open Wednesday through Saturday 11am-2pm + 4-8pm) at 1608 FM 2410, tiny bright yellow building just before the turn onto Commanche Gap Rd coming from I14/US Hwy 190 is great. I am German and this is the best German restaurant I have been to since moving to the US in 1992. The Gulashsuppe (goulash soup) and the Schnitzel sandwich are like my mothers!

  Spammy2019 There are two loops, but I don't think a bad site in the park!Need to do laundry? Go to Wells Laundry on Indian Trail! Its close, clean and huge!
