Tips from campers about Valens Lake Conservation Area
- Alworth While many mid-western towns are dying, Winfield is thriving. It is worth driving the residential streets to see the craftsmanship that went into many of the houses. There is an excellent Mexican restaurant on the east end of town; South side of the main highway.9 years ago Winfield Fairgrounds

Horrible experience. Electric keeps going off due to the overloading of the main circuit. We have electric only during off peak hours. The entire area that is on our circuit gets cut off around noon....
