Tip for Other Campers:
We visited Cobourg two days in a row. There is a nice beach and harbor there. On the out skirts of town a Walmart and Home Depot. A number of good eating places to explore. Oh yes, and places for one's wife to get her nails repaired.
Tips from campers about Cobourg East Campground
- Fhamwey Lots of hiking. We stayed here and also went to Carlsbad Caverns. About 30 min away. No gas for 35 miles so fill up before you get hete2 years ago Pine Springs Campground

Cobourg is only 15 kms (9-10 miles) away and has plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and a great beach on Lake Ontario

Tip for Other Campers:
Cobourg has good restaurants and shopping. Go to the Haute Goat farm, its a blast. And bring your discs for disc golf (27 hole course).
