Hi John, we are sorry to hear that you were offended by the tip option on the pinpad software. This option was added by popular request from our repeat customers that utilize the ice cream parlour in the store. To be cost effective to our customers, we don't maintain separate machines for the different services that the campground offers like the ice cream, store, propane, service center etc. We do understand your view and that tipping for a campsite is not common practice so besides the 15%, 18% and 20% option there is a SKIP option as well for customers to utilize. We do not want or expect our customers to tip unless they feel it is deserved, and that is what we tried to accomplish by giving the customer the choice. If you have a suggestion for this dilemma we would be thankful for your advice because the last thing we want to do is offend our customers upon their arrival. Thank you.

Hi Sandra sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. Our water is municipal and legislated provincially, we do charge for extra adults but a family does not pay more, the pull thru sites are $4-$5 more as they are triple the size of the back ins. The bathroom that you were closer to was the secondary comfort station but the main comfort station offers 5 individual stalls and a large family stall. We have from unserviced to full service with sewer and we also offer a dump station. We have some tree loss due to storms but we are trying to regrow, although we have many treed site options, but I see you reserved online at 6:30 pm and checked in after hours during the July busy season so options would have been minimal. The laundry has both card and coin operated machines. We have a playground, 75 acres of trails, canoe/kayak and bike rentals. We hope you will give us another chance but we suggest making a reservation ahead of arrival date to ensure your wants are met. Thank you.
