Tip for Other Campers:
We did the 1-hour Thousand Islands cruise from Ganonoque, about 30 minutes away. We thought it would include the Boldt Castle, but it didn't go up that far. You probably have to either take the 3-hour cruise or start from Ivy Lea or Rockport to see it....

Tip for Other Campers:
The hop-on, hop-off trolley tour was well worth the $50 pp ticket. A separate trolley goes to Fort Henry, also worth the trip. Our driver was kind enough to take us into the Military College, which was interesting to see....

“Much better KOA than the norm”

We splurged and got a pull through patio site and it was worth it. Much better quality table, chairs and firepit. No cable and only PBS stations over the air. Be cautioned, you get only one password...

Tip for Other Campers:
You can easily spend a full day plus in Kingston, visiting the old penitentiary, several good historic museums and walking the lake front. The trip to the Fort Henry Fort was well worth it. Another day could be spent in Gananoque to visit their historical museum and the interesting sidebar of the history of the Canadian flight control administration as well...
