If you have a dog, visit Conroy Pit in Ottawa. It's a large forested park with hiking trails. What makes it unique is that dogs are allowed off the leash. It's such a joy to watch your dog run on the trails and occasionally meet other dogs. We had planned on going once, but we ended up going there a second time.
