Must drive into Parrys Sound for restaurants and to shop. Too far to bike.
Its now a Sun Resort and is mostly seasonal but the ovnight sites they have are very shady and not that level. We are in a large Motorhome and were able to get level but had to move around once to do...

Island queen tours in Parry Sound were excellent, 2 hr am tour focuses on big fancy cottages, 3hr pm tour cruises outer islands through a swing bridge, both go through Hole in the Wall. Great views & nice museum at Tower Hill

Tip for Other Campers:
Wood was expensive I thought but with the ban on transporting firewood the Trailside wood available. Shouldn't gripe, at least we could have a fire on a few evenings!

Note that this is now part of the Carefree RV Park network and the name is now Carefree Trailside Park.Nice park on two lakes! Very quiet. There are several beaches including one for dogs....

Tip for Other Campers:
Directions: There are signs for the camp on Oastler Park Drive to turn onto James Bay Junction Road from either direction. But there is no sign to turn onto Blue Lake Road from James Bay Junction Road. You have to look for the street sign.
