“Not enough working showers for an entire campground with hundreds of sites”
Nightly Rate: $18 USD
Our site was fine, even though we had reserved a site with hookups, we did not get one when we arrived. There is a new contractor, definitely better than the previous but we arrived during the...

Beautiful park, lodge bar is nice, restaurant is not surprisingly overpriced, food very mediocre.
“Great in amongst the tall trees”
Nightly Rate: $21 USD
Good campground; close to Crater Lake Rim (7 miles, 15 minutes), some sites have electric. However ours in F loop was very hard to back into even with our Class B. Not sure its Class A rated, I didnt...

Tip for Other Campers:
So much - take the trolley tour, very informative. Dont drive the roads if you are larger than a C, even a B would be tight and you cant enjoy the views. Take a walk near F loop and views the cliffs. We are in the dining room, very worth it. Good food. If you arent sure of the weather, plan several days. We had 2 days of rain/overcast and the morning we...

- Martin Cadillac Walk down to the water. Beach area closer to the marina. A little rugged but we did fine (in our 70's). Short staffed at marina. They all but offered me a summer job.
- rudyhehn Boat rentals available at the marina. Fly fisherman were everywhere. Nice hiking along the lake and up the road at the cottonwood picnic area.
- Maureen Beck We drove to Aztec to visit the Aztec Ruins National Park. Very interesting area. Tried to find where a UFO crashed (saw on Waze when searching for something else) but didnt realize it supposedly was a hoax until we got there on a very bumpy, crappy and long road. Dont make the mistake we made and try to visit!

Tip for Other Campers:
The Annie Creek Trail is a pleasant hike that you can catch right from the campground. Be sure to follow the signs across the entrance road to see the source of the creek at an underground spring.

Tip for Other Campers:
Take as many hikes around the rim as possible. Also, the pinnacles drive was fascinating. But of all the things we did, the The park ranger lead trolley ride was fabulous. You really got a feel for the history, the beauty, the mythology behind the park, indigenous people, and the science. No regrets there!
