“Big Lake, Nice CG”
Nightly Rate: $52 USD
We stayed here one night on our way to Crater Lake. We had planned to stay at a harvest host that does not have hookups, but due to the heat wave we changed to here, 50amp service! This is a nice CG...

“Beautiful but Remote”
Nightly Rate: $39 USD
Spacious sites, full service, nice beaches, boat ramps, trails. But no Verizon or wifi. Beautiful high desert. Narrow bridge to park can be a little nerve wracking. Sites along Jordan Road slope up...

- P J Prater Madras has the closest shopping with a Safeway and BiMart. Redmond and Bend have lots of restaurants and breweries. You can rent or bring our own boats or kayaks. Several day use areas for swimming and paddle boarding. There is a dog park in the park and several trails. Short drive to Smith Rock state park which is day use only. Also Peter Ogden overlook is an interesting stop.2 years ago Deschutes River Campground
- Richbald If you're looking for an overnight stay, a place to boat, a place to hike, this is a good one. You're at the bottom of a gorge or canyon so don't look for WiFi. There is a store in Culver, along the road we entered and exit. It's a corner store, and probably has most things you'll be needing in an "emergency" food situation.2 years ago Deschutes River Campground

Beautiful park where the Dueschutes, Crooked, and Metolius rivers come together into Lake Billy Chinook. The lava rock formations are interesting and beautiful to see at sunset. Lots of birds...

We needed an overnight stay along our route and I decided to explore an Oregon State Park. First, I learned that non-residents pay more ($44.00). Second I learned that making a reservation on-line was...

One of the most beautiful parks we've been to. Stunning scenery at the bottom of a huge gorge on lake Billy Chinook. We camped at Deschutes River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
