The quietest of the four USFS campgrounds on Detroit Lake. Pure water, large stately trees and the campground hosts were the absolute best. We camped at Southshore campground in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about Southshore campground
- HuskerMama If you have questions about the area, Irv and Kathy can help. Stop at the office so that the owners can help you select the best spot for your rig. Be careful when leaving the campground - the stop sign at the highway intersection has faded and would be easy to miss. Grove is only 15 miles away (approx.) and there are many restaurants, shops, flea markets, etc. Make sure you walk through Bernice State Park - it's delightful!9 years ago Grand Country Lakeside RV Park
