Tip for Other Campers:

Lots of good hiking trails in the area and at other nearby lakes. We are kayakers so we used the campground as a home base to paddle Clear Lake, Timothy Lake and Trilium Lake. Government Camp is a tourist-oriented community with a few good restaurants and fun shops. Thought is is kinda expensive, it is worth the drive to go to Timberline Lodge for lunch and...

Overall Rating

Peaceful, spacious, and private campsites near a beautiful mountain lake. Hard to imagine a better camping spot. We camped at Clear Lake Campground in a Tent.
