Tips from campers about Halfway, OR
- Steve Jank There is plenty to do in Mineola and the surrounding area of Quitman and Lindale. We did Lindale Candy Company, Miranda Lambert's Pink Pistol in Lindale, Stitchin Heaven Quilt Store in Quitman and a few of the restraunts in Mineola. Cowburners BBQ was great.10 months ago Mineola Civic Center
- Blaz Koro Mineola downtown has several good spots for breakfast lunch or dinner. Classic east texas antique shops and very friendly people1 year ago Mineola RV Park
- N5RWK There is a Brookshire's grocery store, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Subway and a BBQ restaurant within walking distance of the park. Stichin' Heaven, one of the better quilt shops in the area, is 9 miles north in Quitman. Abandoned husbands can amuse themselves at the liquor store across the street, or the Dairy Queen a block away.2 years ago Mineola Civic Center
