“Quiet with a Great Cafe”
Nightly Rate: $15 USD
The Park is small, modest with 4 or 5 spots with power and water. Sewage dump on property. The Proprietor is friendly and is one good Chef. His fried chicken was perfect and he made the best clubhouse...

I knew this place but was in the middle of nowhere, but it was just supposed to be an over-nighter. We'd been given a bum steer by a local in Princeton, Oregon, also in the middle of nowhere. A man...

Tip for Other Campers:
The food in the cafe was great. Shop before you head out because there is nothing for miles. My husband drove 35 miles, one way, for a bottle of vodka. We would never have made it through the miserable situation without it.
Tips from campers about Rome Station
- ARB Bring what you need or drive the 3 miles back to town. Nice store in town to get what you might need.2 years ago Beymer Water Rec. Park
- SomebodyInGNV Google Maps said this was closed, open only on Sunday. Not true. It's open 24/7. There is no gate. The "water recreation" seems to be a former gravel pit. It's a very large hole in the ground with steep sides and only half-full with water. If I child fell in, it could be a problem.3 years ago Beymer Water Rec. Park
- Damia Bring the bug spray! The horse flies are biting.3 years ago Beymer Water Rec. Park

Nightly Rate: $15 USD
The small station is the stop for ranchers and hunters. Nothing glamorous but the staff cooks a nice meal. People pop in to get food and chat awhile. There are plans to expand the sites and add 50 amp...

Rome Station is the little jewel in the middle of nowhere! We reserved an RV site for two nights so we could explore the Pillars and the Qwyhee canyon area. We had Site #1 right next to the caf. It...
