Very small town and not much for outings or eating but lots of trails and hiking areas within driving distances. Lakeside Lodge about 2-5 min drive has a restaurant with descent food. Winchester bay, Reedsport, Florence are all other towns nearby worth taking a drive to explore. Wildflower is definately a very good restaurant straight down 101 in North...

Tips from campers about North Lake Resort, RV Park & Marina
- tapone Old Town and Chiefland are close by. Lots of shopping, places to eat. Manatee Springs, Fanning Springs State Parks are close along with other springs nearby.2 years ago Lucky Charm RV Park
- Jcleja The night we stayed here we ate dinner at Suwanee Belle Landing in Old Town They had very fresh seafood and amazing prices. The grouper tacos were great and my wife enjoyed the clam linguini. It had probably about 30 clams (in the shell) and was only $16. The drinks were pretty good too. The next morning we had breakfast at the Cottage Cafe of Dixie in Old Town. Right down the road from the park. The food was great. The best Eggs Benedict I have ever had. Walk over to your site and check the route and angles visually before forming a plan for how to drive to your site and pull in as the map is NOT to scale.
