“peaceful park on the river”
Nightly Rate: $15 USD
This park has its own exit off the highway and their is really nothing close. It's a great place to make a restful stop. We stayed two nights and just sat around and watched beautiful sunsets. We were...

Tip for Other Campers:
Watch out for mean spurs with a single hard needlepoint. No barefooting and keep your dogs away from the non-grassy areas.
“Easy Freeway Access”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Not a bad campground. Good freeway access, right on the water. Small area, close sites, but not right on top of each other. Open, no trees in campground area. Hookups were good and easy dump station...

Tip for Other Campers:
A variety of sights. About 30 miles to The Dalles. About five miles to John Day dam. Maryhill museum and Stonehenge replica not too far a way. Good base camp for area sight seeing.
Tips from campers about LePage Park
- rkmoezee Visit the Air Zoo while there!6 months ago Markin Glen County Park
- RVL664977 You are approximately 15 minutes from downtown Kalamazoo and minutes away from great breakfast and lunch places.6 months ago Markin Glen County Park
- Kristopher_889 ** DO NOT FOLLOW GPS!!!** IT WILL take you to the wrong place. If you see the turn and it has "Private Property" signs, you went the wrong way. Turn around and backtrack up 3/4 of a mile, turn left on G Ave, then left of Westnedge.. park is 1/4 mile up on the right. GPS will lead you wrong! Other than that, call in your reservation early, this park is somewhat of a local secret, lived in the area for 12 years, less than 19 minutes away, and didn't know it was here! The reservations fill up FAST!!8 months ago Markin Glen County Park

“Very small campground right next to the interstate.”
Nightly Rate: $17 USD
The campground is very small only about 20 rv sites. They are very close together. Nice view of the river We camped at LePage Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Grocery stores are pretty far away. Pretty much in the middle of nowhere. My only real complaint is other campers who let there dogs off lease. It is a small campground and my dog is afraid of other dogs. I dont need your dog running up after mine.

Question:
One camper said Verizon cell and data was "adequate." Can anyone be more specific? And does this vary from site to site? Also, it looks like there is a hill to the southeast. I need a southern path for my Dish. How high is this hill or cliff? Thanks...

We had a waterfront site, which was nice. Unfortunately, 3 sites, which 1 was ours, lost power about 7 pm. Camp host site was empty and answering machine only after hours. 90 degrees outside when...
