- Camper Cowboy Baker's Mercantile on Hwy 26 about 7 miles east (total from park). Good supplies. Hamlet Quick Stop is 10 miles distance heading west on 26. Elderberry Inn is right next door to Baker's. Great Marionberry milkshakes, good food and a lounge, if you're into that sort of thing. Nice and quiet at night, but I've always avoid the summer crowds. Great place for kids to swim. You can hike to Lost Lake. The trail is just outside the park. It's about 3.5 miles and fairly difficult. Take supplies with you. Campground has a generous day use area too.5 years ago Henry Rierson Spruce Run Campground
