“Nice Campground - clean & secure”
Nightly Rate: $55 USD
This campground is right off the freeway, but you are surrounded by trees - it is absolutely beautiful. They had nice, clean restrooms/showers - some of the best we've seen. Be advised - there is no...

Food and wine tasting at Willamette Valley Vineyards, adjacent to the campground. Get there early (mid-afternoon) if you can; there are some reservations available online.

Tips from campers about Into the Woods
- Ifixvinyl99 Bring shade and protection from the flies and gnats.7 months ago Cape Charles / Chesapeake Bay KOA Resort
- Jxnbbl__137 We went to the shanty one night and strolled the town of cape Charles
- tipakajohn Be careful when driving US13 south to campground. Many speed traps in VA and campground will pop up at last minute before toll booths. Pick up any needed supplies (Ice, etc.) at Royal Farms about three miles north of campground. Be sure to visit Cape Charles when here. Only about 6-7 miles north. Very nice downtown with a quite few shops. Cape Charles Brewery is also in town for some good beer and eats.

“Hidden Gem!”

Finally, a beautiful RV park that isn't packed all the time! We stayed for 3 nights and there was maybe one other camper on site (though we never actually saw them). Very spacious sites big enough for...

Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to try the Winery Hike Experience which is a curated walk through the winery grounds with a sampling of 4 wines and an excellent charcuterie board. McKenzie was a fantastic guide and taught us so much about the vineyard and Willamette Valley wines in general. You can book this online when you reserve your campsite. Highly recommend.
“If you can think of I-5 noise as a roaring river, it is a great place!”
Nightly Rate: $55 USD
Let's start with the only major negative - it's about 200 yards off the I-5 Interstate. You don't see the traffic because of the magnificent setting in the woods. But you definitely hear it all the...

“Beautiful setting”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
This is a must stop. Its right below the Willamette Valley Vineyard which makes the best Pinot Noir. The campground is surrounded by trees. In fact at one time it was a Christmas Tree farm. We have a...

If you have a hard time walking up the hill, you can drive. The entrance to the winery is just north of the campground.
