“camping in the heart of amish/mennonite country”

Well maintained park, full hookups worked fine, great service, a bit of highway noise We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Recommend amish farmland tour offered by bird-in-hand, we ate lunch at bird-in-hand bakery & cafe where hubby said pulled pork was one of the best

Visit bird in hand bakery on Gibbons Road, sight and sound theatre is wonderful, Strasburg trains are great for kids and adults Dutch haven has really great shoo fly pies tons of things to see and do and eat bring your appetite lol great antenna reception in this area also.

Tip for Other Campers:
Definitely do the Amish trip. We also did a covered bridge driving loop and got to see so many amish in their buggies. Had an amazing lunch at Speckled Hen in Strausburg.
