Tips from campers about Monte Grande, pr
- TheBucksStoppedHere Make sure to bring all your groceries no real stores around and the same goes for laundry.3 years ago Birch Grove Resort
- Joaowens VoyageursNational Park. Not a lot of food eateries around, you have to drive into International Falls or the cute town of Ranier. We had a great lunch at Cantilever Distillery in Ranier3 years ago Birch Grove Resort
- BDsNoBo Covid summer, so no tours were available through Voyageurs. Highly recommend a tour with Bill of Border Guides--his boat is nice and fast, and he knows the local lore. The Sullivan's Bay Trail was the nicest trail we hiked while we were there. Not too long, relatively flat with a wonderfully peaceful view of Sullivan's Bay at the end. Picnic table and even a fire pit if you want to carry firewood for 0.7 miles. Pine Ridge Gift Shop and Bakery, on the way to the Kabetogama Visitor Center, has a nice selection of gifts, pastries and coffee.4 years ago Birch Grove Resort
