About 20 minutes to Abbeville SC, nice town with nice downtown area. About 2 miles to Calhoun Falls for limited groceries or hardware store.

Tip for Other Campers:
Check out Diamond Hill Mine, about twenty minutes away where you can dig for crystals. There are quartz, manganese, iron, and a very rare chance of finding aquamarines. Lots of crystals are on the surface if you really look.

If you can, bring your boat. The fish were biting during our trip and my husband fished from the bank near our site. Bring your groceries with you as the town of Calhoun Falls, has a Dollar General and 7-11 convenience market. We did find an Ingles in Abbeville- about 20-25 minutes away if you need anything.
