“Great trails”

A great experience with nice people plan on returning many times We camped at Croft State Park in a Motorhome.

There are plenty of restaurants within 10 miles and plenty of stores and groceries stores

We enjoyed our 2 nights here and agree with other reviewers. My only comment seems picayune but Ill say it anyway. The rocks in the sites are too big to comfortably walk on. With flip flops or canvas...

Drive slowly and watch for pot holes and rough road between guard shack and campground. Squirrels can be very friendly.
There is a gun range near by and you may hear shooting all day.
Small Walmart and a good Mexican restaurant near by. Bring bug spray in the summer
Lots of pine trees so bring a broom to sweep off your slides

There is so much to do near Spartanburg,SC. BMW and Freightliner Custom Chassis tours, Kings MTN NP, 96 NHS, Musgrove Mill SHS, Cowpens NBF. Cowpens was the subject of the early 2000's movie the "Patriot" staring Mel Gibson.
