Easy to get around. Nicely laid out sites. We also visited Goodale (small, a couple OK trails), Lee (nice nature trail with artesian well; dirt campsites, Sesquicentennial (OK nature trail, dirt campground), Landsford Canal (no campground but nice canal trail. Tip for Other Campers:
No grocery or gas nearby so fill up and stock up. We had to visit Winnsboro Library to have something printed and it was surprisingly delightful! We are full time RVers and the park visitor center would not print 2 pages for our absentee ballot request which was annoying.

Tip for Other Campers:
The campground is well off the main roads so it would not be easy to run to the grocery store, so plan accordingly. The beauty of the site and the peacefulness are worth it.

We had a pull thru site, all are paved with water and electric. The roads are narrow, but we made it through with our 35 ft 5th wheel. Glad we had the pull thru as there are trees to contend with....

Tip for Other Campers:
Only thing we didnt like was the route from the interstate 77 at Mittford to the campground was very bumpy, like washboard. But going out to interstate 77 to Ridgeway the road we followed was so much better. So advice is dont take the first exit on the southbound side of interstate 77.
