Tip for Other Campers:
Fishing or just get out on the water. Nearby state parks have a nice beach on a bay. Eat at Bob's Steakhouse! House made dressings to one of the best steaks ever! Gettysburg has a free museum that tells you history of the area if you're into that.

Tip for Other Campers:
They only thing to do in Gettysburg is the museum, but, being Sunday was not open. The waitress at the restaurant told us about an overlook that was good so we went in search of Patch Skin Buttes. This is an opportunity to go over the bridge into the reservation about 20 miles or so. You'll take a right onto an 8-mile dirt road, but it's pretty good shape....

- Larry-2458 There are plenty of things to do in the Myrtle Beach area. This campground is located south of the city and more suburban than city area. Limited attractions in this area but is close to the main city area. Plenty of eateries within easy drive and the highlight is the seafood restaurants in the area. Be selective some are much better than others and many run an all you can eat buffets. Further up the road are plenty of things to do nearer the city and in the city area itself. Typical beach town with a boardwalk area and shops for tourist activities. The beaches are clean and usually in good condition. Super accommodating at check in. Well maintained facility. Beautiful views of the Missouri River. We camped at Bob's Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
