“Convenient, lots of flies.”

This would be an awesome location, and easy, but the fly pressure is super high. We camped at Camp 83 in a Fifth Wheel.

No frills park but great for a one night stay. Only uses electric since it was an overnight stay. It is an open field outside of town. 3 seasonal campers and too other campers pulled in after we did....

Pebble Drive In is nearby and has ok food. It closes mid August for the winter.

Tip for Other Campers:
Herreid is just a wide place in the road but there is a burger bar about half a mile from the campground.

Previous review a little harsh. Not a bad little stop between Bismarck ND and Pierre SD. An open field just off the road north of town, with sign in front. Understaffed with pay box in building....
