“Great location near Mt Rushmore. Easy access to bike trails.”
Nightly Rate: $80 USD
Gravel lots, clean restrooms. We were in site 29. We camped at Black Hills Trailside RV Park Resort in a Motorhome.
“Great access to the Mickelson Bike Trail”
Nightly Rate: $84 USD
Our campsite backed up to the highway and since we unknowingly were there during Sturgis, it was extremely noisy. At that time of year, the creek was essentially non existent. Access to Hill City was...

Tips from campers about Black Hills Trailside RV Park Resort
- Holly_Stinocher There is lots to offer in Hill City. The location can't be beat! It is a bit smaller than some of the towns around but is centrally located to many attractions like Custer State park and Mt. Rushmore.9 months ago Black Hills Trailside RV Park Resort
- Suzanne Bon Look for a place closer to Custer. Also, a lovely place is Blue Bell RV Park and cabins on the outskirts of Custer State Park and close to Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial.9 months ago Black Hills Trailside RV Park Resort
- RVL847759 Walking distance into town (Hill City) which had some nice shops, unfortunately due to being early May not all were open. There is a multi-use bike trail with access from the camp ground, which is a must to do if you have bikes (rentals available in town too). After visiting Mt. Rushmore we stopped at Prairieberry winery for tasting and a bite to eat, which was well worth the stop!10 months ago Black Hills Trailside RV Park Resort

“Lots of green grass but No dog park”
Nightly Rate: $57 USD
Always amazes me what campgrounds describe their place as a "resort". This was a family trip. Our RV site was adequate for a couple of nights. My sister had a cabin listing a kitchenette, microwave...
