Wind Cave, our primary destination, was closed due to elevator refurbishing. But there are still a lot of trails and other things to do in the park, so it's still fun. We also went to see Mount Rushmore, Jewel Cave and Custer State Park. There were several places in Hot Springs to eat, and a couple of grocery stores.

PerfectIf you like nature and peace - stay here. I lost count of turkey and deer. Located in Custers and Wind Cave NPs back pocket. Well be back. We camped at Stagecoach Stays in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about Stagecoach Stays
- Ruger58 Shopping complex about a mile north of the park has Fry's Grocery & Gas, bank, hardware store, nail salon, Barro's Pizza & Anaya's Mexican restaurants plus a couple fast food places.4 years ago Casa Grande RV Resort and Cottages
- TekManiac This park has a great location. Three grocery stores are within a mile of here. There is a Home Depot, Lowes, and a Harbor Freight just outside the gate area. The people in the area are very friendly and we enjoyed our time here very much.6 years ago Casa Grande RV Resort and Cottages
- jimnsandy When I asked the person at the registration desk what there was to do in Casa Grande, she said "Indian ruins and Walmart". I'm not kidding. The road you turn off is fairly inconspicuous and you will go past a couple of other homes in the dirt road. The campsite is on the left near the top of the hill and there is a small sign for Stagecoach Stays. Seems tighter than it looks and we had no problem getting our 34 long trailer in and out.
