“Super close to MT Rushmore park. Under improvement construction.”

View of Rusmore at night is difficult to see due to town lights. Place needs a lot of work but has great potential. We camped at Rushmore View Inn RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Custer State Park - make sure to drive Needles Highway and the Wildlife Loop. Keystone - eat at the Powder House Restaurant as it was very good and very reasonably priced. Go spend a day in Deadwood - it was fun walking the shops and is very dog friendly. Crazy Horse Monument and Mount Rushmore are both very close. We wished we had spent more time here.

- ThePewterPalace Be sure to visit Crested Butte for the day, Taylor Reservior area and take the Scenic byway 149 to Creede. All drives and areas are fabulous! If you need any welding done, use Vulcan Ironworks in Gunnison. - Amazonica 5 B's BBQ on Tomichi Ave in Gunnison is great with a dog-friendly patio. The WalMart in Gunnison doesn't have a 'fresh' food section at the time of this review, just chips, soda and such. If you need 'real' food, Safeway is your best bet.

Place was a dump. No trash cans, untidy and management has really let it go. I was surprised to see the 6.1/10 rating. We camped at Rushmore View Inn RV Park in a Motorhome.

“Not the nicest park. ”

This is a very basic park. Lacking garden maintenance. Site 18 is not level. I am parked in the backyard of another business. We camped at Rushmore View Inn RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
The camp restaurant serves a buffet style meal 3 times a day and there are other places to eat in Keystone too. Do not forget to go the Berglum Story in Keystone and learn about the man that scuplted the mounument. Drive the Needles highway and see the magnificent rock formations and the needles eye as you drive through it.
