Most areas in Black hills area are absolutely beautiful. We felt pretty safe in the Rapid City area when we were out and about, shopping etc. Very windy at times, don't leave your awning unattended. Very nice little resturant in Piedmont called Neighbors Grub and Pub. Good food and drink.

- Susanella__700 Campground does not open till mid May. Beautiful campground on the river. We stayed on BLM land leading up to the campground. Other3 years ago Topsy Campground

“Nice little quaint park”

This was a nice place to stay for a few days. A lot of full timers but they were kept up nicely. There is a laundry on honor system and clean bathrooms. We camped at Lazy JD RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Go to Rapid City and do the Presidents Walk and go to the town square. Also stop in at Paddy O'Neill's Irish Pub & Grill - great fun and great staff. Food was good - fun place to visit!
