Tips from campers about Ashland City, TN
- JosetteT Eat at the Riverview Restaurant. Nearby and very reasonably priced. Views of the water. Ashland City is about 15 minutes away and has everything you would need. Laundry mat near Walmart is great but very expensive. Worth it to have super clean clothes and done quickly. Stayed in site 27 with a 35 foot fifth wheel. Plenty of space for everything. Fire ring and picnic table. Would definitely return5 months ago Lock A
- Kona Boy Tips: (1) If possible book a riverfront site to get the best view of passing pleasure craft and tugboats pushing huge barges. (2) Camping fees are half/price for those of us with a US Senior Parks Pass. (3) Try booking during the week to avoid competing with locals for a weekend reservation. (4) The Pardue Pond and Dyson Ditch Wildlife Refuges are on the other side of Cheatham lake. Both are excellent places for bird watching and exploring.6 months ago Lock A
