We were there to visit family in the area so it was a perfect location for us.
Tips from campers about Piney Campground, Land Between the Lakes NRA
- malicoreon Definitely take the time to drive the whole length of the Trace. There are many fun things to do off the Trace including the 1850s farm, two buffalo/bison ranges, and several other camping areas to check out. Taylor Bay looks interesting for more of a "boondocking" feel.
- MAMRDM We were there to visit family in the area so it was a perfect location for us.
- Cecil House They have horseback riding and elk and bison prairie also.
