421 Creamery for great ice cream options, Local's Deli for great sandwiches and amazing people (nearly 200 year old building for a bonus), Art Center in town for all kinds of arts and music info (they also have picking on the porch for free during the summer on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday 6-8pm), farmers market at Ralph Stout park in summer for good food and...

Tip for Other Campers:
If you're into twisty mountain drives with switchbacks, try US-421 to Bristol, TN. Known as "The Snake" this road boasts 1 valley, 3 mountains and 489 curves. Don't even consider it while towing an RV or in a motorhome. From Bristol you can visit the Cherokee National Forest and Backbone Rock which claims to have the world's shortest tunnel.

“Great location in the Doe Valley of northeast Tennessee”
Nightly Rate: $23 USD
Quiet and scenic. Trailer park across the hedge row, but, well kept and everyone seemed to be mannerly. Longer rigs need to be careful on entry due to dip in gravel where it comes off of paved road....

Tip for Other Campers:
Hwy 421 Creamery is a great place for frozen treats and Captain Jim's has great fresh seafood. Both are in Mountain City, about 6 miles away.
