Tip for Other Campers:
If you have a large rig, pulling in can be tricky. Make sure you stay all the way to the left and then make the right into the park entrance. My dually with 40 5er barely made it. Just take it slow and youll be fine.

Wautuga Lake is just a short drive. Roan Mountain has a great playground and swimming pool. There is a must try pizza restaurant Frank and Marty.
