- Cathlene & Matt We recommend using the Gatlinburg Trolly (free) to get around the Gatlinburg area. Traffic is intense and parking hard to find on busy weekends. We spent 3 full days in the GSM park and still didnt see everything. We recommend the Farm Museum, Cades Cove, Newfound Gap and as many waterfall hikes as you can manage. We did the touristy thing and took in the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show (lots of fun!) Also the hard Cider and moonshine tasting is dangerous as you'll endure buy more than you planned. - Charisse Tyson Enjoy the Lift church on Sunday and have a tasty meal at El Machetes. You could actually walk to the restaurant. You'd have to wait a bit for a break in the traffic to cross the highway, but it's doable.
