We were doing a mother in law health and welfare check, so spent most of our time in nearby Smithville. All the fast food restaurants you could want and any shopping you will find the major chains there.

Tip for Other Campers:
I heard the restaurant was good, but we ventured into Carthage the first night and found a great bar & grill called Ebel's. Great food! We returned a few days later and ate while checking out the antique stores. Take the long way. It only takes about 10 minutes and the countryside is beautiful.
